CHINA'S SWINE FLU SPREADS!

China's deadly swine flu epidemic is on the move and threatens the world supply of pork. In an NPR article covering the China Swine Flue epidemic one farmer is quoted as saying, "It's spreading very quickly, and this disease is very dangerous," says Gao. "We're all scared."

The fact that Chinese farmers are even talking to foreign press about the situation should give us all pause. The article goes on to point out:

Scientists are worried, too. Jurgen Richt, a professor of veterinary medicine at Kansas State University, is an expert on African swine fever. He says although the virus does not affect humans, it has shown a capacity to kill herds of pigs quickly. It's highly contagious, and infected pigs die within five to 10 days."And it's not only the problem that this virus is deadly for pigs," says Richt. "The problem is also we do not have a vaccine. So the only strategy we have is to keep it controlled and keep it out from noninfected areas."That may prove to be difficult in a place like China, says Richt, home to more than 700 million pigs — about half the world's population. "This is really big, because it hits the biggest pig population in the world."

Did you catch that last part about half of the worlds pigs being potentially wiped out? Not to worry though, one of the world's most closed off and corrupt government's has this under control.

Well not quite. We are informed:  In early August, China recorded its first African swine fever outbreak in the city of Shenyang, in northeastern China. Scientists believe pigs there may have eaten food scraps from a train that had come directly from Russia, and that among the infected pork was among the scraps. Less than two weeks later, pigs nearly a thousand miles away in the central Chinese city of Zhengzhou were infected. Three days after that, nearly 800 miles south in farmer Gao's city of Yueqing, another outbreak. Scientists believe that the virus spread so far so quickly because of pigs being shipped across China by farmers and buyers.

In other words this deadly virus has spread across China like a wildfire and pigs are dropping like flies sprayed with DDT. To make matters worse the virus has now spread to other countries.

As this Sept. 17, 2019 video informs us South Korea has confirmed its first case of swine flu which they believe came from North Korea.

Did you catch that part where she said China has had to cull, that means kill, one third of their pigs? One third of 700 million would be over 233 million pigs! And that's not even counting the pigs that have already died from the flu. To top it off this report informs us that pork prices are up in South Korea but they are really up in China, as much as 47% from 2018.

In this video from May 23 2019 we learn that the virus has also spread to Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand. While the media fixates on defaming President Trump the world faces a real possibility of a catastrophic break in our food chain. Common sense dictates that losing most of the world's pork supply could result in a famine situation for millions if not billions of people.

In this more recent video dated Sept. 20, 2019 we find out that swine fever has been present in the Philippines for at least two weeks.

Apparently the idiots raising some of the pigs killed by the flu thought the best way to dispose of them was to dump them in a local creek where they could float down stream and infect other pig farms, which they of course did.

At the risk of sounding like a real horses' backside I think it's safe to say these third world countries don't adequately appreciate the value of hygiene.

American pork producers did however seem to understand this as we learn from this slightly dated article:

Pork producers and allied industry veterans will be missing their annual trip to Des Moines in 2019. In a move designed to help keep African swine fever out of the country, the National Pork Producers Council has announced cancellation of the 2019 World Pork Expo.

Can't say that I blame them. As crazy at it seems that Filipino farmer who dumped his dead virus infected pig in the creek could just as easily load himself on plane to Iowa without bothering to take a shower and bring us the gift that keeps on giving.

After seeing Chinese insects invade our country only to completely decimate our elm and ash trees to the point of extinction, watch them pollute our streams and rivers with their disgusting invasive fish, and now to have them threaten the very food supply we depend on you might think people would get a clue. If the Chinese are our friends then as they say 'with friends like that who needs enemies?'
